Clown in a Cornfield (2025)
Directed by Eli Craig
Quinn and her father have just moved to the quiet town of Kettle Springs hoping for a fresh start. Instead, she discovers a fractured community that has fallen on hard times after the treasured Baypen Corn Syrup Factory burned down. What critics compared Clown in a Cornfield to
In a year filled mostly with horror films aiming to hedge their bets with levity (see: Companion, Clown in a Cornfield, The Monkey)…
There’s some decent gore, although I’m always disappointed when a slasher film is rated 15 as opposed to 18 in the UK; since gruesome killings are the main selling point of this sub-genre, unless the property’s YA (i.e. Clown in a Cornfield), why not go all the way?
