It's one thing to see a suicide in closeup in "Tenebre," or hands shredding as they cling to an elevator cable in "The Cat o' Nine Tails."
Unlike The Cat O' Nine Tails , there's no silly scientific rationale here for the film's murders (indeed, there are no easy answers).
