What critics compared Gigi to
When Lerner and Loewe wrote and composed the song "Thank Heaven for Little Girls" for the 1958 musical "Gigi," it's a safe bet they weren't referring to someone like the pint-sized, foul-mouthed, guns-blazing 11-year-old Hit-Girl (Chloë Grace Moretz) in "Kick-Ass."
The music certainly doesn't rival Gigi (1958) or Mary Poppins (1964).
While I cannot at this point, hum any of the melodies, all I can tell you is that it could be the best score written for a movie since Lerner and Lowe’s Gigi (1958).
