How High (2001)

Jamal and Silas, two ordinary guys who smoke something magical, pass their college entrance exams with flying colors and end up at Harvard. Ivy League ways are strange but Silas and Jamal take it in a stride -- until their supply of supernatural smoke runs dry. That's when they have to start living by their wits and rely on their natural resources to make the grade.

Add a dash of hip-hop to your standard Cheech & Chong movie, then a smattering of National Lampoon's Animal House or maybe a dollop of Rodney Dangerfield in Back to School.
If a black man wants to get his groove on with that rare breed of soul sister that actually likes Kevin Costner, a little weed goes a long way in keeping him awake during Field of Dreams.
So these two dudes toke their way through freshman year, pulling "Animal House" pranks on the snooty Oreo dean (Obba Babatunde), copping booty from frat boys' babes and sorority virgins in argyle sweaters, and getting hookers for their geek dorm-mates, the Chinese wannabe gansta ("You East Coast, I Far East Coast!") and the pathetic whitebread frat pledge.
It's one of hundreds of Animal House stepchildren, with a cameo from the Bachelor Party donkey but no fugitive appearances, sadly, from our much missed ODB.
