Listening to him, it occurs to me that I might be able to accept Neeson as the voice of Jesus in an animated life-of-Christ film (like Ralph Fiennes in The Miracle Maker ); and Aslan, of course, is Jesus’ Narnian alter ego.
Only William Hurt, using the same choppy inflection he employed as Jairus in The Miracle Maker , seems unconnected with his character’s emotions.
