A bright high-school senior has her impending status as valedictorian jeopardized when her bitter history teacher, Mrs. Tingle, gives her a poor grade on a project. I still think Teaching Mrs. Tingle is a dope title.
Williamson had some good ideas three decades ago, but the well has run dry. Allowing him to direct only his second feature film ever (after 1999’s Teaching Mrs. Tingle) with the franchise in crisis mode results in a discombobulated travesty.
…it should be noted the only other film he directed before now was Teaching Mrs. Tingle nearly 30 years ago.
