She also keeps her audience on their toes, playing with film speeds and stocks and even throwing in a hilarious animated sequence that wouldn't look out of place in Small Soldiers, or the much-maligned Welcome to Marwen .
It’s got plenty of violence, but not a sense of any real pain being attached to all of the shooting (the hard R version of Small Soldiers).
