The Thin Blue Line (1988)

An unorthodox investigation into the wrongful conviction of Randall Dale Adams for the 1976 murder of Dallas police officer Robert Wood. Using stylized reenactments and interviews with key figures, conflicting testimonies and evidence are presented to argue that Adams was framed by a corrupt justice system, ultimately leading to his exoneration.

His " Gates of Heaven ," about pet cemeteries in California, is one of the best films I have ever seen, and his more recent " The Thin Blue Line " freed a man from Death Row in Texas.
A Brief History Of Time is a hybrid in more ways than one, combining not only Hawking’s ideas and life story, but the disparate approaches of Morris’ previous feature-length documentaries, 1978’s Gates Of Heaven and 1988’s The Thin Blue Line.
