The Delta Force (1986)
Directed by Menahem Golan
A 707 aircraft jetliner, en route from Athens to Rome and then to New York City, is hijacked by Lebanese terrorists, who demand that the pilot take them to Beirut. What the terrorists don't realize is that an elite team of commandos have been called in to eliminate all terrorists on the jetliner.

What critics compared The Delta Force to
This is a movie that feels like it would desperately like to be part of a much simpler era, perhaps one of the Golan-Globus Reaganite warhorses of the ’80s — like the Chuck Norris vehicles The Delta Force or Invasion U.S.A.
The biggest shock of the movie is seeing Cap appear on a European subway platform wearing a suit that looks requisitioned from “The Delta Force” and a beard and bob that are unshakably Barry Gibbs.
