Why Glenn’s Dale, and as we realize earlier, the whole Garrity neighborhood, is privy to John’s shameful infidelity is another weird underlying motif which makes Greenland so oddly estranged (like many mainstream films) from realistic human composites (and ensures this is a lot closer to Sperling’s script for The Sea of Trees than his notable breakout in 2010’s Buried ).
