What critics compared Priscilla to
…there is more than a touch of Coppola’s aunt Sophia’s Priscilla…
…can’t compare to the piercing emotional intimacy of, say, The Virgin Suicides, Lost in Translation or Priscilla…
A case can be made for Saltburn being the anti-Priscilla, another 2023 film that serves as a cautionary tale against living in a fantasy that shows two different types of Peter Pan figures: the tragic, but human Elvis who becomes a victim to his excess and Oliver, a man who wants to live in the Catton’s home forever.
Jacob Elordi (Priscilla, Saltburn) as the creature…
…he’s done increasingly impressive work in Priscilla, Saltburn and On Swift Horses…
This is paired with astounding prosthetics on actor Jacob Elordi (Saltburn, Priscilla).
Fresh off the success of Emerald Fennell's Saltburn and Sofia Coppola's Priscilla…
…will play Elvis Presley in ‘Priscilla’…
He takes a cue from other recent Lido-bound biopics like Priscilla (2023) and The Smashing Machine (2025), wherein Jacob Elordi and Dwayne Johnson toed a similar line in their portrayals of Elvis Presley and Mark Kerr, respectively.
