The volume of disconsonant inputs and ideas spin to a dizzying extent, and the sparse plotting pushes Zeros and Ones between a farce and a conceptual anti-drama in a DIY underground cross-over of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and novelist Dan Brown's conspiracy thrillers.
Ferrara’s scuzzy Catholicism gets a routine workout here as the story attempts to draw wider parallels to holy wars and terrorist attacks, but the features in his style become bugs underneath the muddy digital cinematography of Sean Price Williams ( Good Time , Tesla ), which renders action, drama, motivation and meaning indecipherable and uninteresting.
