One would expect a fight reminiscent of Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker from Rush Hour, but the inclusion of the realistic effects of the complex punches and kicks makes it an interesting sequence.
Naishuller, coming off of Nobody and, to a much lesser extent, Hardcore Henry, has a knack for delivering heightened and sometimes even cartoonish moments of comedy without detracting from the high-octane action, blending both elements together well in sequences that utilise the physical and naturally funny talents of his performers, from his A-list stars to the numerous stunt performers, while indulging in the good kind of mindless entertainment.
But as it turns out, Ilya Naishuller of Hardcore Henry and Nobody fame surprises me instead with his entertaining mix of visceral action mayhem and lively comedy.
Russian filmmaker Ilya Naishuller made his mark on Hollywood and U.S. audiences with the 2015 action flick Hardcore Henry (budget: $2 million), which is infamous for being shot entirely from the first-person perspective of its main character.
Naishuller, coming off of Nobody and, to a much lesser extent, Hardcore Henry, has a knack for delivering heightened and sometimes even cartoonish moments of comedy without detracting from the high-octane action, blending both elements together well in sequences that utilise the physical and naturally funny talents of his performers, from his A-list stars to the numerous stunt performers, while indulging in the good kind of mindless entertainment.

On this occasion, however, the superstar duo is led by director Ilya Naishuller, who famously helmed the highly entertaining Nobody (2021).
