What critics compared Teddy to
These scenes are reminiscent of John Landis’ An American Werewolf in London, and make it clear that the directors are fans of ‘80s horror.
While comparisons to An American Werewolf in London are definitely applicable here, I’d say that some other comparable cinematic experiences to Teddy would be Carrie and any of the classic Universal Monster movies as well.
TEDDY is a delightful cocktail of all the best monster offerings – a little bit of An American Werewolf in London , a little bit of I Was a Teenage Werewolf , and a little bit of Jaws (but on land).
