Jigsaw has disappeared. What critics compared Saw III to
Yet, apart from a story credit on Saw III, Wan had little involvement with the seven-part Saw series.
After helming the good, if somewhat generic Saw II, the second time is clearly the charm for this directorial newbie.
The movie begins right where “ Saw II ” leaves off, with Detective Eric Matthews (Donnie Wahlberg) chained to the same pipe as “ Saw ” victim Adam.
What’s more, we know from “Saw II” that Jigsaw is dying of brain cancer, so he’s not apt to be up and about setting up torture chambers anyway.
If you're not familiar with Miike's work, then you most likely shouldn't make yourself familiar with Saw III.
