Terry is a small-time car dealer trying to leave his shady past behind and start a family. Martine is a beautiful model from Terry's old neighbourhood who knows that Terry is no angel. When Martine proposes a foolproof plan to rob a bank, Terry recognises the danger but realises this may be the opportunity of a lifetime.

The premise sound encouraging enough in concept, its heist plot setting itself up as a cross between 2000's " Small Time Crooks " and 2008's " The Bank Job "?but with woodland creatures.
In the pantheon of serious-minded heist films, The Town is a respectable addition, falling beneath the bar set by Michael Mann's Heat but alongside 2008's The Bank Job.
