From filmmaker Joel Schumacher, who directed Colin Farrell in "Tigerland" (2000) and Kiefer Sutherland in "The Lost Boys" (1987) and "Flatliners" (1990), comes this 2002 thriller starring Farrell and Sutherland about a sniper who pins a guy down in a phone booth.
Although I never managed to write a review of it, I loved Tigerland and have been a fan of Colin's work for quite sometime (I have issues with how he handles himself in public, but I think he is a wonderful actor.)
Schumacher’s ace in the hole is his Tigerland star Colin Farrell who, in addition to being this year’s breakout It Boy, crackles with the kind of ramped-up onscreen dynamism that allows him to appear in virtully every shot of the film and not wear out his welcome.
Director Schumacher, admired for Falling Down, reviled for Batman & Robin, and admired again for Tigerland (which starred Colin Farrell), employs his subtle talent and his incredible eye for composition to the utmost, giving the film an artistic presentation which makes a big difference in how fun it is to sit through.
