In this feature film based on the hit animated series, the third graders of South Park sneak into an R-rated film by ultra-vulgar Canadian television personalities Terrance and Phillip, and emerge with expanded vocabularies that leave their parents and teachers scandalized. When outraged Americans try to censor the film, the controversy spirals into a call to wage war on Canada and Terrance and Phillip end up on death row, with the kids their only hope of rescue.

In "Bigger, Longer & Uncut," the kids of South Park are addicted to an R-rated animated feature film that features much nasty language and enough bean music to make the boys of "Blazing Saddles" blush.
Where else can you find Saddam Hussein carrying on as a bossy lover to Satan in the fiery depths of hell, or obscene (and often clever) dance numbers based on "Les Miserables" and "West Side Story"?
Ranging from a global sing-along reprise of “Kyle’s Mother Is a Bitch” to Terrence & Philip’s “rap video” and a “West Side Story” parody, these rude ditties (penned by Parker) are fully orchestrated and lavishly “staged” to hilarious impact.
This movie ranks along “Scarface” and “Do the Right Thing” as one of those the most jam-packed with the F-word!
It's with that idea in mind that the South Park musical came to be; a travesty of specific moments from Disney's Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid , host to what remains the single-best parody of Les Misérables ever conceived, and in all ways a self-delighted piss-taking of the structural concerns of Broadway musicals in general; a bouncy collection of endlessly hummable show tunes that almost all have the word "fuck" puckishly jammed in someplace, just to spite the idea that musicals are what you take your kids to see - and incidentally the songs, by Parker and Marc Shaiman, are far better than they had any need to be; possibly the single most subversive fact about South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut is that all else being equal, it's one of the best original movie musicals in a generation.
Oh, yes -- it's also a musical, with 14 annoyingly hummable songs, including the worldwide children's chorus of Kyle's Mom's a Bitch,and Satan's lament, inspired by Ariel from The Little Mermaid,entitled Up There.

While few, if any, could convincingly argue that this show is anywhere near the brilliant "The Simpsons" in regards of sheer creativity and intelligent writing, Parker and Stone do show some signs of that, all of which is quite surprising since they're the team also responsible for the horrible "BASEketball" and "Orgazmo."
No doubt only saving itself from the NC-17 (No Children Under 17 Admitted) rating because it's a cartoon rather than live-action, the R-rated film is a full-out, and well-articulated, attack on the bogusness of the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) rating system, no doubt due to Parker's unfortunate experience with them last year when they rated his comedy, "Orgazmo," NC-17, even though it had next to no sex and even very little harsh profanity.
Parker's flaccid porn lampoon "Orgazmo" and the duo's participation in "BASEketball" (they starred), didn't exactly court "brilliance."
Co-creator Trey Parker has already had a run-in with the MPAA ratings board last year over his porno satire "Orgazmo," and the rumor mill has been churning recently about whether or not "South Park: Bigger, Longer, & Uncut" actually survived the ratings process in the state its title promises.
The biggest crime that Trey Parker and Matt Stone could ever commit would be re-releasing last year's "Orgazmo" to theaters.
