Kate Burton ("Celebrity") and Margaret Colin ("The Devil's Own") make strong impressions in one amusing scene where they unwittingly interrupt Connie's assignation with Paul, then ogle the man.
McElhone, whom you may remember as Brad Pitt's moll in the ill-fated The Devil's Own, plays Rheya with seeming ease, managing to portray the woman in many shades of light and dark, in different times of her life.
And whilst Harris strikes an imposing figure, he's revealed too early and portrayed like a Bond villain meets the mad Irish bombers of 1990s Hollywood (think Blown Away or The Devil's Own).
