What critics compared Ridicule to
Leconte was one of my favorite directors and I considered his “Ridicule” a masterpiece.
It was at this point that I began to yearn for the Patrice Leconte film Ridicule, which presented a grubby Versailles, where frustrated petitioners camped out for months in the hope of one day presenting their requests to the monarch.
