Co-writers/directors François Simard, Anouk Whissell and Yoann-Karl Whissell show a clear affection for the genre, but this isn’t a spoof that pokes fun at cheap and cheesy classics like The New Barbarians or the Patrick Swayze flick Steel Dawn.
