Salon Kitty (1976)

In Nazi Germany, Kitty runs a brothel where the soldiers come to 'relax'. Recording devices have been installed by a power-hungry official who plans to use the information to blackmail and usurp Hitler. One of the girls discovers the ploy and, with the madam's help, takes on the dangerous task of exposing the conspiracy.

What critics compared Salon Kitty to
The movie is full of gentle nods to a collection of styles ranging from Sergio Leone's spaghetti westerns (there's more than a little Ennio Morricone music on hand) to the fetishistic WWII films of Tinto Brass ("Salon Kitty").
I never thought I'd see the day when an A-list movie star headlined a film that was equal parts Cold War thriller, Hitchcockian suspense, and sleazy Salon Kitty styled exploitation, but here we are.
