In a small English village everyone suddenly falls unconscious. When they awake every woman of child bearing age is pregnant. The resulting children have the same strange blond hair, eyes and a strong connection to each other.

What critics compared Village of the Damned to

It draws inspiration from classics like The Shining, Hereditary, Day of the Dead, and a kind of reverse Village of the Damned.
And there is something eerie and dead about these children's eyes, making them resemble those evil, stoic kids of the 1960 horror flick "Village of the Damned."
Creepy, malevolent kids have been a horror-flick staple at least since 1960's "Village of the Damned," but rarely have they been as realistically terrifying as Samuel, the disturbed and disturbing boy played by 6-year-old Noah Wiseman.
