Speaking of anticipation, Michael Polish has produced a lot since he broke through with “Twin Falls, Idaho” and “Northfork”.
Perhaps the supporting cast member to leave the biggest imprint, though, is a relatively peripheral one: the instantly charming Ida Darvish (2007's " The Astronaut Farmer "), stealing her scenes with humor and grace as Palazzo Vecchio employee Marta Alvarez.
Better is Reggie Belafonte (voice of James Woods, "Northfork"), an otter with Don King hair, who is a manipulative promoter with a cute, furry face.
It's back to supportive domestic beaming for Madsen in the insufferably paternalistic The Astronaut Farmer, where all she does is add to the condescending eccentricity of hubby Billy Bob Thornton, a Texas rancher with cosmic dreams building a rocket in his barn.
